Did you know that HHHunt offers apartment homes, new homes and planned communities in some of the best places to live in the United States? It’s true! Since 1966, HHHunt has developed the perfect homes for residents and homeowners no matter their age or stage of life. With communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic, you are sure to find something that fits your lifestyle. Here are some reasons why Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina are among the best places to live in the United States.

Maryland

Maryland is known for its great seafood, the Baltimore Orioles, and amazing landscapes from the mountains to the oceanfront. Did you also know that Maryland offers homeowners and residents a great quality of life with incredible access to a growing economy? HHHunt opened its first community in Maryland with Abberly Crest in 2005. Since then, we have expanded our apartment living and senior living divisions throughout the state. You can read more about Maryland’s booming economy, high-quality of life, and top universities in our Guide to Living in Maryland. You can also take a closer look at our video guide on living in Maryland.

Virginia

The Old Dominion offers an amazing quality of life, world-class schools and universities, great career growth opportunities and a rich culture. HHHunt was founded in Blacksburg, Virginia in 1966 and since that time we have grown into one of the largest apartment living, planned communities, senior living, and new home developers in the Commonwealth. With 39 Fortune 100 companies, amazing cultural attractions like the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Mount Vernon, and quick access to both the beach and mountains, it is no wonder so many people call Virginia home. Learn more about the Commonwealth and all it has to offer in our Guide to Living in Virginia as well as our video guide.

North Carolina

HHHunt has been a part of the North Carolina community since the early 1980s when we built our first apartment home community. Today it is home to five of our apartment home communities, HHHunt Homes of Raleigh and our CEO, Buck Hunt. In case you didn’t know, North Carolina’s economy is booming! Home to 12 Fortune 500 companies including Bank of America, Duke Energy and Lowe’s, North Carolina has one of the lowest unemployment rates driven by its vast diversification and business-friendly climate. North Carolina also offers a great quality of life with amazing outdoor recreational amenities, cultural amenities, and top ranked K-12 schools. We’re proud of our long history in the “Tar Heel State.” You can read more about what makes North Carolina so special in our Guide to Living in North Carolina. South Carolina

Often referred to as the “Palmetto State,” South Carolina is rich with history, culture, culinary delights, education and a robust economy. HHHunt has been a part of the South Carolina community since 2008 when we launched our first apartment living community in the state – Abberly West Ashley in Charleston. Since that time, we have expanded across South Carolina with six additional apartment home communities. The state offers amazing weather year-round, great access to job opportunities and a low cost of living. You can read more in our Guide to Living in South Carolina or check out this video to see why South Carolina is such an amazing place to live.

At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters and we are proud to offer apartment homes, new homes, and planned communities in some of the best places to live in the U.S.
