HHHunt celebrates first ever kids day and book bag drive

SHARE

HHHunt Homes Hampton Roads invited 105 amazing kids to attend their first ever Kids Day and Book Bag Drive. HHHunt employees, along with the Cavalier Manor Varsity Spartan Dream cheerleading squad, worked incredibly hard to create the perfect day.

The Newport News Police Department brought their Mobile Playground and Marine Patrol Unit and Boat to the event.  The K-9 Unit, which included  Lacey the Bloodhound, even showed up to talk with the children and perform a demonstration.  Chick Fil-A with their famous cow offered food and free gift cards to all of the kids and parents. The bounce house, snow cones and popcorn kept energy levels high as the children traveled around visiting the various tents including a nail painting station, face painting station and a station where assorted crafts were used to create bookmarks for the school year. The event's grand finale included a performance by the cheerleading squad that lit up the kid's faces and wowed the crowd!  Then, just before leaving, each child received a back pack stuffed with school supplies to start their school year off successfully.

The event was a huge hit and it was heart-warming to see the children having so much fun! HHHunt understands that today's children are our future and anything we can do to support them, build their confidence, encourage their dreams and supply the necessary tools to give them success, is truly our honor and pleasure.
