HHHunt Collects Over 5,000 Items for Local Food Banks
We are excited to share that we completed another successful company-wide food drive in 2022! Team members from our Apartment Living, New Homes, Communities and Corporate areas collected non-perishable food items to donate to local food banks. Our homeowners, residents and partners also joined in on the effort! Over 5,000 items were collected and donated to food banks in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. HHHunt also provided a matching $1.00 for each item collected, resulting in over $5,000 donated to the food banks.
Being an Engaged Community Partner is one of our Brand Promises, and we take it very seriously. We believe giving back to our communities by alleviating hunger is a perfect way to fulfill this promise during the holiday season. It’s part of our corporate culture to help others through volunteerism, and we are committed to empowering our team members to give back.
Recipients of this year’s food and monetary donations included: Bluffton Self-Help, Chesterfield Food Bank, Community of Hope Ministries, Feed NC, FeedMore, Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, Garner Area Ministries, Harvest Hope, Haymarket Regional Food Pantry, HELP of Beaufort, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Low Country Food Bank, Peninsula Food Bank, Pinecrest Baptist Church, S.E.R.V.E. of Stafford, Second Harvest Food Bank, Southern Maryland Food Bank, and United Way of Montgomery County.
At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters, and giving back to our local communities is at the heart of who we are as a company. We are thankful to all who participated in this year’s food drive to help those in need. If you want to support this cause, we encourage you to check out the organizations above or contact your local food bank!
We’re glad you’re here, and we’d love to connect with you.
