HHHunt Homeowners and Residents Enjoy Spring Lifestyle Events

SHARE

The spring months are all about renewal. Flowers reemerge from their winter slumber and fill gardens with a rainbow of colors. Birds can be heard chirping, and people shake off the cold winter months and start venturing back outside to socialize and attend events. Nowhere can this be seen better than in our apartment living and planned communities. Across Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, our homeowners and residents have taken advantage of the spring to reconnect with neighbors and build new friendships. Here are just some of the lifestyle events that HHHunt has recently hosted.

Earth Day Celebration and Paint Night at Abberly Pointe Apartment Homes

Residents at Abberly Pointe Apartment Homes have been busy! In April, the community held its second annual Earth Day celebration. Our team potted flowers and plants donated by Martins Landscaping and gave them to residents to put on their balconies. Earlier this month, the Abberly Pointe team hosted a Sip and Paint Night where residents got a painting lesson from Melissa Benzin, our Community Manager at Abberly Crossing. The night was a huge success with over 20 residents participating and creating stunning paintings of the nearby South Carolina coastline.

Kentucky Derby Party at Mosaic at West Creek

When we think about the spring, one event always comes into people’s minds – the Kentucky Derby. That was especially true for our homeowners at Mosaic at West Creek in Goochland County, Virginia. First, residents put their creative talents to use with a Kentucky Derby Hat Decorating Party. Homeowners gathered at the Conservatory to create some truly spectacular hat designs using flowers, ribbons and more. On May 7th, Mosaic at West Creek residents got to show off their new hat designs at our Kentucky Derby Party. Over 50 homeowners watched Rich Strike take the trophy while enjoying derby-inspired food and cocktails like mint juleps.

Spring Flings at River Mill and Rutland

River Mill and Rutland held their Spring Flings on April 30 and May 7. These family-friendly events featured inflatable obstacle courses, petting zoos, food trucks, and The Farm Bus farmer’s market on wheels. Over 500 homeowners attended the Spring Flings which was the first time we’ve been able to host this annual event since the start of the pandemic. Everyone had a great time as new and existing homeowners got to meet one another.

Engaged Community Partner Events

Across our planned communities and apartment living communities, homeowners and residents have come together to celebrate our Brand Promise of being an Engaged Community Partner. At Abberly Avera Apartment Homes in Manassas, Virginia, residents are collecting donations for Northern Virginia Family Services. Abberly Pointe hosted a spring blood drive on April 24 with our partner, The Blood Connection. To top it off, Mosaic at West Creek residents have been collecting clothes to donate to the GoochlandCares Clothes Closet. Every day our residents and homeowners are making a difference in our local communities.

At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters, and for 55 years we have provided homeowners and residents in our planned and apartment communities with unique and festive opportunities to learn new things and create new relationships.
