Bark Park Grand Opening - Mosaic at West Creek - 55+

A new amenity calls for a celebration! On April 2, 2022, HHHunt Communities hosted a “Paw-ty at the Bark Park” in Mosaic at West Creek to kick off the community’s new amenity, the Bark Park! This amenity at our 55+ community in Goochland, VA features two fenced-in play areas for dogs of all sizes! Partnering with BlueStar Resort & Golf, Mosaic at West Creek’s lifestyle partner, the amenity opening was a huge success and featured activities, local vendors, delicious food and of course, the dogs of Mosaic!

The event began at The Conservatory where homeowners gathered with their furry friends to get ready for the Pet Parade down to the new dog park. Custom Mosaic at West Creek bandanas were given to each dog so they would look stylish for the fun day ahead. Once everyone arrived at the Bark Park, more fun continued as the dogs broke in their new amenity and showed off their skills at the agility course. Educational demonstrations were provided to teach our homeowners and their pets some new leash-walking skills. This demonstration was perfect for homeowners who love to take their pets on daily walks throughout the miles of sidewalks and trails in the community! Throughout the event, homeowners visited with local vendors including Canine Adventure, Confident Canine Coach, Lindsey Finch Art LLC and Goochland County Animal Shelter. Goochland County brought adoptable dogs and two were adopted at the event! We were so excited to be a part of the process as these loveable pets found their forever home.

No event is complete without delicious food! Lunch was provided for guests and included hot dogs, snacks, cupcakes and beverages. We could not forget to share some treats with our furry guests! They enjoyed custom-made, peanut butter dog biscuits throughout the day.
