Wescott: Summer Concert

Wescott homeowners kicked back and relaxed on a Friday afternoon at the Summer at Wescott Concert on July 22, 2022. HHHunt Communities invited homeowners to head into the weekend with their neighbors by enjoying live music, delicious food, ice cream and more at The Connexion and Amphitheater.

The event featured a local band, The Josh Lief Band, who took the stage and provided amazing tunes rooted in Americana, Country-Rock and Blues. This four-piece group is local to RVA and kept the audience’s feet tapping the whole night! Homeowners brought their own blankets, chairs and tents to relax on the Amphitheater lawn and enjoy the concert. Check out The Josh Lief Band at a local brewery or event around Virginia! We love supporting local businesses, especially delicious local food trucks! So we invited El Guapo to park their truck at the event for homeowners to purchase tasty tacos, quesadillas, burritos and more. Even better, this food truck has a brick-and-mortar location just a few miles down the road from Wescott. Be sure to check out their menu by heading to their website.  

Events in July mean hot weather! We knew our homeowners would want to beat the heat, so we opened the doors to The Connexion. Guests walked to this state-of-the-art clubhouse, just down the hill from the Amphitheater, to cool off in the air conditioning. With the accordion doors open, the concert could still be heard as homeowners socialized with one another and took fun photos at the photobooth by vendor partner, Shutter Booth. The event concluded with a visit from the Gelati Celesti ice cream truck, an RVA staple! Homeowners received a complimentary scoop from this popular ice cream truck and could make their own sundae inside The Connexion. The ice cream toppings bar was a fun addition to the event, and homeowners loved customizing their treat.
