Wescott: Wine Tasting

A wine tasting in your very own backyard? That’s right. We recently held a wine tasting at our award-winning amenity, The Connexion at Wescott. The Connexion is the heart of our urban-inspired master-planned community in Midlothian, VA. Homeowners can use this clubhouse to work remotely, enjoy the coffee bar or host an event. It’s perfect for the work-from-home lifestyle and social gatherings.

The Wescott HOA hosted a winetasting on June 11, 2022. We love partnering with local businesses and bringing them to our communities for our homeowners to enjoy. James River Cellars, a local Richmond winery, was on-site to share their wines and educate the community on winemaking. Residents were able to purchase additional bottles of wine to take home or enjoy with their neighbors after the event. Homeowners tasted six wines and enjoyed charcuterie cups from a local, woman-owned business, RVA Cheese Girl. RVA Cheese Girl has flavors thoughtfully paired and ingredients styled with attention to detail. Check out more on their Facebook Page.

This event helped kick-start the Wescott Sip N’ Share Club, which was created for homeowners to meet their neighbors in a fun and relaxing way. We strive to provide events and clubs for all ages in our annual calendar of events. The Wescott Lifestyle Committee helps shape the communities’ interests and opinions into one-of-a-kind events.
