How We Made a Difference in the Local Community with Pet Supply Drives and Note in the Pocket

Abberly Avera by HHHunt Partners with a Local Pet Shelter

Our Abberly Avera team members recently partnered with a local pet shelter, A Forever Home, by hosting a Pet Supply Drive. A Forever Home is a rescue foundation that works to find forever homes for dogs in need. Residents and team members donated various items throughout the month of February, which helped this pet shelter house the dogs while seeking their forever home. Here at HHHunt, we are a pet-friendly company offering apartment communities and homes with no breed or weight restrictions. What a great way to connect Abberly Avera residents with the local pet shelter and make an impact on the local community.

HHHunt Partners with Note in the Pocket

Our HHHunt Homes team partnered with Note in the Pocket. To improve educational equity by addressing clothing insecurity, Note in the Pocket's mission is to provide quality clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families with dignity and love. In 2023, Note in the Pocket supplied clothing for over 10,000 children and teenagers in Wake County, NC.

Our team members volunteered their time organizing bags of donated clothing, sorting by age and size for teenage girls, and ensuring the clothing was clean and not too worn. They prepped the clothing by folding each item and writing hand-written notes encouraging the recipients that the community truly cares for them. The hand-written notes were a special, more personal touch that our team loved being a part of. What a special way to meet needs and give back to the Wake County teenagers.

Abberly Market Point by HHHunt Partners with Local Humane Society

Team members from Abberly Market Point recently partnered with Greenville Humane Society by hosting a Pet Supply Drive. Greenville Humane Society's mission is to preserve the lives and enhance the well-being of animals. Our team members were able to play an active part in that mission. The Abberly Market Point team and residents donated toys, food, blankets, newspapers and other essential items that will directly help the Greenville Humane Society and the animals they are hosting as they wait for adoption. Our pets are important members of our residents' families, and what a great way to make an impact in the local community.
