HHHunt Apartment Living's Commitment to Excellence
At HHHunt, our commitment to excellence has a long history. It all started in 1966 when our founder, Harry H. Hunt III, saw the need for faculty and student housing at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. We have been building, developing and operating some of the most award-winning and celebrated apartment home communities across the southeast ever since. Our success has stemmed from Harry’s core belief that everyone's ideas matter. Whether that idea comes from a long-term employee or a resident of one of our apartment home communities, feedback and new ideas on how to improve are the heartbeat that drives us forward. That is because we are trying to do more than just provide an apartment home. Our goal is to "To improve the world and how people live by creating meaningful experiences and places of great distinction."
Creating a Culture Centered on Customer Service
"Working at Abberly Crossing, I am able to go above and beyond for my residents. HHHunt strives to raise that bar on customer service at all times, and they empower us to do so. I am very happy and proud to work for a company that cares so much about what is really important." – Allie, Abberly Crossing
People are at the heart of every decision we make. Whether it be an apartment home, a new home, or a master-planned community, where we choose to live is a very significant and personal decision. That is why we strive every day to create a culture centered around customer service. Every single team member within the HHHunt Apartment Living family undergoes training through our in-house training program called HHHunt University. Overseen by our Director of Training and Development, Gabrielle Bouknight, HHHunt University includes thousands of online and in-person classes. These classes help our team think proactively about ways to improve our residents' apartment living experience and grow professionally.
Unlike most apartment living companies, HHHunt has always believed in professional development. We continue to invest heavily in every employee because this translates directly to a better experience for our residents. We also invest heavily in soliciting and engaging with residents for their feedback. Using J Turner Research, a multifamily customer insights platform, we proactively reach out to our residents several times a year to see how we can continue to improve.
"I love this place and the great positive energy. There's an amazing young woman in the leasing office, and she helps me with all my packages when they come in. She is full of joy, very nice and always has an uplifting spirit. Glad to have her here." – Resident, Abberly Woods
Striving to Create an Amazing Resident Experience
"I love that we, as a team, collaborate with ideas of how we can make our residents feel that they matter. We create an engaging community for our residents with parties, events, contests, etc. Not only do I love being a part of the planning process, I love the feedback that we receive from our residents about how much they love these events. My favorite outcome of all is residents meeting each other and creating friendships from these events. It blows me away to think that we have initiated that with these fun activities and makes me love my job even more!" - Vannessa Lopez, Abberly Solaire
In addition to customer service, living in an HHHunt Apartment Living community also means creating amazing experiences for our residents. Whether that be helping with the move-in process or assisting with recommendations as you navigate a new city, we want you to have an incredible experience as a resident and will do everything possible to make that a reality. One of the ways we do this is through resident engagement experiences like parties, events, contests, and community service efforts. Our apartment home communities are exactly that – a community where residents can build life-long friendships with one another and engage in meaningful ways. For example, every year, our apartment living communities participate in an annual food drive around the holidays. These food drives benefit local food pantries and provide the perfect opportunity to help others locally. Other events include trivia nights, food truck courts, paint and sip evenings, and holiday-inspired, family-friendly activities like pumpkin carving competitions and pool parties.
We are always looking for new ways to help enhance residents' experiences. From touring our communities virtually to creating a seamless move-out process with our Smooth Move program, we always take our residents' feedback to heart and create new ways to make your time with HHHunt Apartment Living as stress-free as possible.
"Abberly Place is a wonderful apartment community with a wonderful staff and a great location. There are a couple of pools and other wonderful amenities that are available, and they frequently do something to try to get the community together for some fun. It is a great place to call home." – Resident, Abberly Place
Ensuring High-Quality Maintenance
"At two months in, the management and maintenance staff here have vastly exceeded my expectations. Communication is clear. Fixes are timely. The mental load this place takes off my shoulders is beyond worth the cost." -Mikey, Resident, Abberly Market Point
Maintenance is the #1 thing renters look at when searching for an apartment home community. All HHHunt Apartment Living communities offer 24/7 on-site maintenance. Our HHHunt maintenance team is dedicated to assisting residents at a moment's notice. These professionally trained maintenance technicians are among the best in the business. Every year they spend hundreds of hours in professional development training - from air conditioning to plumbing and electrical repairs. That means our residents can rest easy if anything does go wrong.
Most importantly, our maintenance team members are HHHunt employees who are directly accountable to our residents. That means that you will always receive timely repairs and incredible customer service.
Building Innovative Communities
HHHunt Apartment Living is always listening to our residents and finding ways to improve by building new and innovative apartment living communities in Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. From traditional garden-style apartments to elevator buildings and build-to-rent townhomes, there is something for everyone. We've also been intentional about incorporating modern amenities and luxury features that are hallmarks of our communities. These luxury features include Shaker-style cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and wood-style flooring. In addition, as a result of HHHunt's partnership with ADT, all new apartment homes feature an assortment of integrated smart home technology, including smart hubs, smart thermostats and smart locks giving residents access to technology that makes life easier.
In addition to standard features like swimming pools and clubhouses, we have invested in making our apartment home communities more pet friendly. HHHunt is committed to pet-friendly apartments, and we boast many amenities tailored to residents and their pets. For example, many of our communities feature an outdoor pet park, pet spa and pet lounge. The pet lounge is connected to the pet spa and offers space for residents and their pets to hang out and socialize inside.
"We love it here! My wife and I moved into the apartment complex at the end of July of this year, and it was SMOOTH. Even as far back as we visited the area in May to look for apartments, the area and staff stuck out as warm, accommodating, and in a central location to everything in Beaufort. We have two cats (one adopted this week), and the pet screening was as easy as could be. Only takes a one-time per fee for each animal. The amenities are great as well! My wife loves using the gym and pool area, and the trash valet service is a huge plus. Our apartment was well-cleaned and in pristine condition when we moved in, as well. All the neighbors around us were very welcoming and even lent a helping hand. If you are looking for an apartment in Beaufort, this is the place to be." – Resident, Abberly Pointe
Crafting Unique Amenities
"The apartments just opened in 2019. They are beautiful, modern, and I feel like I am living at a resort. From the gorgeous pool and grounds to the security, it by far exceeded my expectations. I looked at other apartments in the Midlothian area that were more expensive that did not have the amenities that Abberly offers. I am so happy this is my home." – Resident, Abberly CenterPointe
When it comes to creating unique amenities, HHHunt Apartment Living is among the best apartment home companies in the country. Our Abberly Skye and Abberly Onyx residents can enjoy a remarkable set of community amenities, such as a saltwater pool, golf simulator, sauna, hammock park, spa and dog park, co-working space, climbing wall, and more. Both communities offer over 40 amenities for residents – the most in the Atlanta region. At our Abberly Foundry apartments in Nashville, residents have plenty of ways to unwind, from gathering with friends at the modern barbecue area to watching the sunset on the rooftop deck or relaxing at the fireplace lounge.
HHHunt Apartment Living residents can also enjoy our signature Adrenaline Cardio and Strength Studio, which includes a separate space with on-demand technology. In addition, many of our communities offer private swimming pools with large sundecks and in-water seating, outdoor entertainment areas, miles of sidewalks, pocket parks and bark parks, car care centers and car charging stations, valet trash removal, elevator access and spacious clubhouses.
